MasterLagPOND: The bacterial additive for basins, ponds and lagoons
MasterLagPOND is a specific formulation on inert substrate of mineral granules, suitable for the treatment of sludge and deposits in stagnant water basins. It is composed of a porous mineral substrate containing specific bacterial strains which are effective in biodegrading the suspended organic substance. Once distributed on the surface of the basin, the granules slowly reach the deeper layers covered by sediment deposits and other decomposed substances. Mineral granules gradually absorb pollutants which are then degraded and metabolized by the microorganisms contained in MasterLagPOND.
MasterLagPOND intensifies water clarification and cleaning, increases the metabolic capacity of the existing biomass, controls the growth of algae, filamentous microorganisms, reduces bad odors and minimizes the effects due to the presence of bio-toxic substances and reduces sludge on the bottom of the basin.
